Brandon Fitzgerald vs Aidan MacClelland

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Connacht promoted show at Joshua Donoghue Gym, Galway,  taking place on 22/10/2028:

Clearly AI Ireland-Connacht have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish-Connacht Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brandon Fitzgerald (6 - 6 - 4) who hails from Galway, Ireland and Aidan MacClelland(5 - 11 - 4) from Galway, Ireland.  Both Fitzgerald and MacClelland weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Doyle, and the three ringside judges are Fionn Madden, Niall Monday and Paul Mahoney.  

Round 1: 

Fitzgerald backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  MacClelland accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Fitzgerald.  
Fitzgerald hits home with a left hook.  
MacClelland steps inside.  Fitzgerald lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
MacClelland feints a jab, but Fitzgerald is not fooled and responds with a right uppercut.

MacClelland gets on the inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  MacClelland has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
