Dai Blackard vs Rob Halladay

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-New South Wales promoted show at University of Newcastle Sports Hall, Newcastle,  taking place on 22/11/2028:

Clearly AI Australia-New South Wales have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dai Blackard (8(1) - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Rob Halladay(4 - 1 - 2) from Wollongong, Australia.  Blackard weighed in at 230 pounds and 6 ounces, while Halladay weighed in at 237 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kenzie Bianchi, and the three ringside judges are Richard Bean, Ian MacKellar and Max Ogletree.  

Round 1: 

Blackard advances into close range and drives a firm right hook into Halladay's ribcage.

Blackard advances into close range and lands a firm right hook.  Blackard holds on to his opponent.  Blackard is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Blackard's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Blackard closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Halladay switches the action to the outside.  Blackard contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Halladay throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Blackard steps inside and drives a sharp right hook into Halladay's body.  
Blackard hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Blackard steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Blackard throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Blackard clinches his opponent.  Blackard uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Halladay's kidney. 
Blackard pivots to the left of his opponent.  Blackard digs in a right hook to Halladay's body.  Blackard tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Blackard closes the distance and connects with a sharp right uppercut.  
Halladay throws a left uppercut, but Blackard holds on to his opponent.  Blackard pushes his forearm into Halladay's face.  The referee warns Blackard and breaks the clinch.  
Blackard lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Blackard forces Halladay to back into the ropes.  Blackard lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Blackard feints a cross, and then connects with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Halladay's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Halladay's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Halladay's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Blackard lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Blackard clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Blackard pushes his forearm into Halladay's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Blackard.

Blackard manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Blackard lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Blackard lands a right hook.  
Blackard advances into close range and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Blackard lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Blackard forces Halladay to retreat into the corner.  Blackard throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
