Amjad Backirov vs Arseni Iksanoff

Boxing Daily Report from the GGG Imperat promoted show at Almaty Secksenoff, Almaty,  taking place on 22/11/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kazakhstan-Almaty Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amjad Backirov (6 - 5 - 1) who hails from Almaty, Kazakhstan and Arseni Iksanoff(9 - 6 - 2) from Almaty, Kazakhstan.  Both Backirov and Iksanoff weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fadei Sagyndycow, and the three ringside judges are Andrii Iclassow, Majid Kairbeckoff and Danyaal Isabecoff.  

Round 1: 

Backirov advances into close range.  Backirov pivots from in front of his opponent.  Iksanoff is on target with a left hook.  Iksanoff attempts to land a right hook, but Backirov slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
