Shayan Taheri vs Louis Bwakali

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Afraha Stadium, Nakuru,  taking place on 25/11/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya-Nakuru Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WWX Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shayan Taheri (5 - 1 - 1) who hails from Nakuru, Kenya and Louis Bwakali(5 - 6 - 2) from Naivasha, Kenya.  Both Taheri and Bwakali weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Halaby, and the three ringside judges are Andy Uttien, Jack Chepchumba and Atif Ghazal.  

Round 1: 

Bwakali closes the distance.  Taheri pivots to the side of his opponent.  Bwakali attempts to land a right hook, but Taheri blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Taheri retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Bwakali accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Taheri.  Bwakali hits home with a cross.
