Gig Pedroza vs Ponce Meraz

Boxing Daily Report from the Yeray Heras promoted show at Roman Salvas Gym, Monterrey,  taking place on 26/10/2028:

Clearly Yeray Heras have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Nuevo Leon Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gig Pedroza (19 - 2 - 1) who hails from San Nicolas de los Garza, Mexico and Ponce Meraz(11 - 10 - 1) from San Nicolas de los Garza, Mexico.  Both Pedroza and Meraz weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vegas Sanchez, and the three ringside judges are Cortez Gloria, Juan Loredo and Neper Carabello.
