Markku Peltoniemi vs Henrik Karvonen

Boxing Daily Report from the Wekinky Promotions promoted show at Wekinky Gym, Helsinki,  taking place on 28/10/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Markku Peltoniemi (3 - 0) who hails from Espoo, Finland and Henrik Karvonen(3 - 9(1) - 1) from Helsinki, Finland.  Both Peltoniemi and Karvonen weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kalle Kiljunen, and the three ringside judges are Jorma Puikkonen, Heimo Airikkala and Kaapro Kuusi.  

Round 1: 

Karvonen attempts to land a left hook, but Peltoniemi sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Peltoniemi lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Peltoniemi pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Peltoniemi connects with a left hook.  
Karvonen walks Peltoniemi down, trapping him on the ropes.  Peltoniemi lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Peltoniemi gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Peltoniemi forces Karvonen to back into a corner.  Peltoniemi pivots from in front of his opponent.  Karvonen throws a right hook, but Peltoniemi holds on to his opponent.  Karvonen pushes his forearm into Peltoniemi's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Peltoniemi lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Karvonen tries to land a cross, but Peltoniemi sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Peltoniemi digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Peltoniemi pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Peltoniemi pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Peltoniemi closes the distance and digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Peltoniemi lands a stinging left hook.  
Peltoniemi lands a hard jab.  
Peltoniemi lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Karvonen's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Karvonen's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Karvonen's trainer is passing on some tactical advice. Peltoniemi forces Karvonen to retreat into a corner.  Karvonen tries to land a left uppercut, but Peltoniemi sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Peltoniemi pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Karvonen's ribs.  
Peltoniemi is on target with a left uppercut to Karvonen's ribs.  
Karvonen attempts to land a left uppercut, but Peltoniemi sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Peltoniemi lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Peltoniemi pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Peltoniemi pivots to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.

Peltoniemi is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Karvonen attempts to land a jab, but Peltoniemi sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Peltoniemi steps inside.  Peltoniemi pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.

Karvonen closes the distance.  Peltoniemi is on target with a right uppercut.  As Karvonen tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Peltoniemi dabs at his face checking for damage.  Peltoniemi has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Peltoniemi lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Peltoniemi's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.
