Duncan Curtis vs Jamie Buchan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Michigan promoted show at Grand Rapids Napier, Grand Rapids,  taking place on 14/11/2028:

Clearly AI USA-Michigan have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Duncan Curtis (0 - 0) who hails from Fremont, USA and Jamie Buchan(0 - 1) from Honolulu, USA.  Curtis weighed in at 243 pounds and 15 ounces, while Buchan weighed in at 247 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cole Quigg, and the three ringside judges are Floyd Solinski, Leon Russell and Leighton Dempsey.  

Round 1: 

Curtis advances into close range.  Curtis pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.

Curtis lands a cross.  Curtis throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Curtis closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Curtis pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Buchan connects with a cross.  
Curtis gets on the inside.  Curtis retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Buchan tries to tag Curtis on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Buchan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Curtis hits home with a right hook.  
Buchan is on target with a jab.  
Curtis gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Round 2: 

Buchan switches the action to the outside.  Buchan feints a right hook, but Curtis does not fall for it and lands with a left hook.  
Curtis is looking to close the distance.  Buchan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Curtis is on target with a firm left hook.  
Curtis lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Curtis is on target with a right uppercut.  
Curtis connects with a left hook.  
Curtis lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  Curtis clinches his opponent.  Curtis uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Buchan behind the head. 
Curtis lands a left hook.  
Curtis closes the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Buchan has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

Curtis is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Curtis clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Curtis's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Curtis lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Curtis holds on to his opponent.  Curtis leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Buchan pivots to the side of his opponent.  Curtis throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Buchan feints a jab, tricking Curtis into countering with a cross.  Buchan springs the trap and counters with  a right uppercut.  
Curtis closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  Curtis holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Curtis pushes his forearm into Buchan's face.  The referee warns Curtis and breaks the clinch.  
Curtis lands with a sharp jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Curtis's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Buchan's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
