Rob Ankrah vs Uland Kuma

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Dawu Sports Stadium, Accra,  taking place on 09/12/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viasat 1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rob Ankrah (22(17) - 1) who hails from Achiaman, Ghana and Uland Kuma(18(1) - 4 - 2) from Accra, Ghana.  Both Ankrah and Kuma weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noel Koranteng, and the three ringside judges are Felix Kasanbata, Shevon Adusei and Felix Kasanbata.  

Round 1: 

Ankrah lands a right hook followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Ankrah is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Kuma almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Kuma is on target with a cross.  
Ankrah gets on the inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Kuma dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ankrah quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kuma hits home with a right uppercut.  
Kuma lands a cross.  
Ankrah steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Ankrah ties up his opponent.  Ankrah is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ankrah is looking to close the distance and hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  
Ankrah advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
Kuma sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ankrah lands with a ramrod jab.  
Ankrah closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Ankrah throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ankrah gets on the inside and lands a sharp left hook.  
Kuma tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Ankrah lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kuma cuts off the ring, trapping Ankrah in the corner.  Ankrah hits home with a cross.  
Kuma lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Ankrah drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Kuma hits home with a left uppercut.  
Kuma lands with a sharp jab.  
Kuma pivots to the side of his opponent.  Kuma tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Ankrah finds the target with a jab.

Ankrah steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Ankrah clinches his opponent.  Ankrah is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ankrah about fouling.  
Ankrah tries to land a jab, but Kuma sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Kuma lands a cross.  
Ankrah is looking to close the distance.  Kuma throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Ankrah clinches his opponent.  Ankrah leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ankrah lands a cross to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Ankrah is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND DROPS KUMA!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Ankrah!
