Boxing Daily Report from the The wright promotion promoted show at The Gym, Kingston,  taking place on 28/11/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Vicente Prudencio (5 - 0) who hails from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic and Zelipe Vega(4 - 10 - 5) from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic.  Prudencio weighed in at 122 pounds, while Vega weighed in at 121 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Harvey Dennie, and the three ringside judges are Mike Keough, Geoff Torrence and Rob Tedford.  

Round 1:

Vega steps inside.  Prudencio lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Prudencio holds on to his opponent.  Prudencio leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Prudencio is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Prudencio.  
Prudencio steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Prudencio steps away from his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Vega quickly recovers. 
Vega is looking to close the distance.  Prudencio sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Vega lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Vega attempts to land a jab, but Prudencio blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Prudencio steps to the outside.  Prudencio feints a left, and then lands an overhand left.  
Prudencio steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand left to the head, a cross to the head and a jab to the body.  
Prudencio is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Vega walks Prudencio into the blue corner.  Prudencio is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Prudencio lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut, cross and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS VEGA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Prudencio lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS VEGA DOWN!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Prudencio!
