Yo Geng vs Haji Aghamehdiyev

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Korakuen Hall, Tokyo,  taking place on 09/12/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Yo Geng (11(6) - 0) who hails from Changzhou, China and Haji Aghamehdiyev(7 - 4 - 3) from Samarqand, Uzbekistan.  Both Geng and Aghamehdiyev weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Goro Oyama, and the three ringside judges are Hiroki Amaya, Keiichi Iida and Naoki Morita.  

Round 1: 

Geng tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Geng hits home with a cross.  
Aghamehdiyev is looking to close the distance.  Aghamehdiyev pivots to the right of his opponent.  Aghamehdiyev throws a left hook, but Geng holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Geng pushes his forearm into Aghamehdiyev's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Geng is looking to keep his distance and connects with an overhand right.  
Aghamehdiyev closes the distance.  Geng lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Geng steps away from his opponent and hits home with a stinging overhand right.

Geng tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Geng feints a right, and then lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.

Geng lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Aghamehdiyev lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Geng lands a straight 1 - 2, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Aghamehdiyev quickly recovers. 
Aghamehdiyev steps inside.  Geng digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Geng steps to the outside.  Geng feints a left hook, and then is on target with a sharp cross.  
Geng lands a straight 1 - 2.

The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Geng thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Aghamehdiyev away.  Geng lands a right uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut, left hook and a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS AGHAMEHDIYEV!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Aghamehdiyev has now recovered from that shot earlier.
