Shayan Sharifi vs Rush Notte

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Central Hall Manchester Central, Manchester,  taking place on 17/11/2028:

Clearly Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shayan Sharifi (16(13) - 0) who hails from Hyderabad, India and Rush Notte(4 - 5 - 1) from Anderlecht, Belgium.  Sharifi weighed in at 252 pounds and 9 ounces, while Notte weighed in at 232 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris MacGibbon, and the three ringside judges are Nick Monahan, Louis Atkins and Owen Saunders.  

Round 1:

Notte gets on the inside.  Sharifi lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Sharifi ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Sharifi pushes his forearm into Notte's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Sharifi to stop fouling.  
Sharifi tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Notte closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Sharifi clinches his opponent.  Sharifi leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Sharifi is looking to keep his distance and connects with a hurtful cross.  NOTTE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT NOTTE CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Sharifi!
