Bing Wu vs Paul Risk

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Edmonton Expo Centre, Edmonton,  taking place on 02/12/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Super Channel, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bing Wu (13 - 0) who hails from Harbin, China and Paul Risk(16 - 12 - 3) from Mississauga, Canada.  Both Wu and Risk weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Campbell Marques, and the three ringside judges are John Haddow, Chris Bach and Clint Craig.  

Round 1: 

Wu gets on the inside.  Risk throws a left uppercut, but Wu holds on to his opponent.  Wu is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Wu to stop fouling.  
Wu lands a right hook.  
Wu steps inside.  Risk throws a left hook, but Wu holds on to his opponent.  Wu tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Risk behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Wu.  
Risk attempts to land a left hook, but Wu sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Wu manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Wu throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Wu ties up his opponent.  Wu leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Wu tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Risk's kidney. 
Wu hits home with a cross.  
Wu is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Wu clinches his opponent.  Wu leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Wu lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Risk is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land a jab, but Wu slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Wu closes the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Wu manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Wu lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Wu advances into close range and drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Wu pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Wu is looking to close the distance.  Wu pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.

Wu advances into close range.  Wu hits home with a left hook.  Risk wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Wu dabs at his face checking for damage.

Wu digs in a left hook to Risk's ribs.  
Wu forces Risk to retreat into a corner.  Wu drives a right hook into Risk's ribcage.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Risk's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Risk's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
