Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cuba-Havana promoted show at Rafael Trejo Boxing Gym, Havana,  taking place on 05/12/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Iago Camilo (23(17) - 1(1) - 1(NC)) who hails from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba and Carlos Martinez(7 - 9(1) - 3) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Camilo and Martinez weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Limas, and the three ringside judges are Montel Palencia, Juan Ledezma and Sancho Luiz.  

Round 1: 

Camilo lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Camilo steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand left.

Martinez steps inside.  Camilo drives a stinging left hook into Martinez's body.  Camilo clinches his opponent.  Camilo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Camilo and breaks the clinch.  
Camilo hits home with a sharp cross.  
Camilo tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.  
Camilo lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Camilo contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Martinez tries to land a jab, but Camilo sidesteps and counters with a HUGE left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE MARTINEZ WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Martinez quickly recovers.

Camilo switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.

Martinez is looking to close the distance.  Camilo pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid left hook.  
Camilo feints a jab, and then connects with a cross.  
Camilo is looking to keep his distance.  Martinez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Camilo lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Camilo circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Martinez throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Martinez steps inside and manouvers Camilo onto the ropes.  Camilo lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  Camilo ties up his opponent.  Camilo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Camilo connects with an overhand left.  
Camilo steps to the outside and connects with a solid overhand right.  Camilo tries to land a jab, but Martinez blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Martinez's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Martinez's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Martinez is looking to close the distance.  Camilo lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Camilo clinches his opponent.  Camilo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Camilo throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Camilo to stop fouling.  
Camilo steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Camilo connects with a cross.  
Camilo hits home with a left uppercut.  
Camilo lands a sharp right hook.  
Camilo switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Camilo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head, DROPPING MARTINEZ TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Martinez closes the distance.  Camilo lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Camilo lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a jab to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Martinez quickly recovers. 
Camilo tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a jab.  
Camilo lands an overhand left to the head, a jab to the body and an overhand left to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Martinez quickly recovers. 
Camilo is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a sharp jab.  
Camilo lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Camilo tries to step out of his opponents range.  Camilo feints a right hook, and then lands a cross.  
Camilo is on target with a powerful cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MARTINEZ WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Camilo attempts to land a cross, but Martinez slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Camilo's ribs.  
Camilo steps away from his opponent.  Camilo sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Camilo lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by  two straights to his opponents head, KNOCKING MARTINEZ DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Martinez cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Camilo!
