Sam Nixon vs John Templeton

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at UCF Soccer and Track Stadium, Orlando,  taking place on 09/12/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Nixon (2 - 1) who hails from Ontario, USA and John Templeton(4 - 13) from Los Angeles, USA.  Both Nixon and Templeton weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dale Salvatierra, and the three ringside judges are Nasario Claudio, John Owens and Cody Grant.  

Round 1: 

Nixon is looking to close the distance and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Nixon clinches his opponent.  Nixon throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.
