Agapetus Placido vs Federico Ople

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at Ynares Center, Antipolo,  taking place on 31/12/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Philippines Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Agapetus Manila Mauler Placido (27(24) - 0) who hails from Manila, Philippines and Federico Ople(16 - 0) from Malolos, Philippines.  Both Placido and Ople weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Correira, and the three ringside judges are Rafael Camargo, Alejandro Zevallos and Olindo Catubay.  

Round 1: 

Placido is on target with a jab.

Placido tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Ople lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Placido sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ople is on target with a firm cross.  
Placido lands an overhand right, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Ople gets on the inside.  Placido pivots to the left of his opponent.  Placido throws a right hook, but is off-target.  Placido clinches his opponent.  Placido uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Ople behind the head. The referee warns Placido and breaks the clinch.
