Boxing Daily Report from the The wright promotion promoted show at The Gym, Kingston,  taking place on 28/11/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Stark (9(4) - 0) who hails from New Kingston, Jamaica and Ashley Pate(7 - 16(3) - 2) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  Stark weighed in at 241 pounds And 4 ounces, while Pate weighed in at 235 pounds And 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Geoff Torrence, and the three ringside judges are Harvey Dennie, Mike Keough and Rob Tedford.  

Round 1: 

Pate connects with a cross.

Stark walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Stark feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Stark walks Pate down, trapping him on the ropes.  Stark lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.

Pate has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Stark advances into close range.  Stark is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Stark lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, AND SENDS PATE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Stark!
