Nathan Costain vs John Meiklejohn

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Smoke TO promoted show at Toronto Lanman, Toronto,  taking place on 15/11/2028:

Clearly Big Smoke TO have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Ontario Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nathan Costain (8 - 13(1) - 4) who hails from Mississauga, Canada and John Meiklejohn(10 - 10 - 4) from Toronto, Canada.  Both Costain and Meiklejohn weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Biggart, and the three ringside judges are Joel Griffin, Leo Gaddie and Dave Mollison.  

Round 1: 

Costain feints a jab, but Meiklejohn is not fooled and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Meiklejohn contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Costain tries to land a cross, but Meiklejohn blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Costain's body.  
Meiklejohn gets on the inside.  Costain goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Meiklejohn's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
