Quito Gonzalez vs Hilario Zambrano

Boxing Daily Report from the Mwase Promotions promoted show at Diego Veloz Gym, Puente Alto,  taking place on 13/12/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Chile-Santiago Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quito Gonzalez (5 - 3 - 1) who hails from Puente Alto, Chile and Hilario Zambrano(2 - 3) from Puente Alto, Chile.  Both Gonzalez and Zambrano weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jax Salina, and the three ringside judges are Cuba Veliz, Ulises Cerna and Diego Virgen.  

Round 1: 

Gonzalez connects with a left uppercut.  
Gonzalez sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Zambrano lands a jab.  
Gonzalez walks Zambrano down, trapping him on the ropes.  Gonzalez hits home with a left hook.  
Gonzalez connects with a left hook.  
Zambrano sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Gonzalez gets on the inside.  Zambrano connects with a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Gonzalez has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Zambrano's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Zambrano's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Zambrano steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Gonzalez blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Gonzalez feints a jab, and then connects with a left hook.  
Gonzalez advances into close range and walks Zambrano down, trapping him in a corner.  Zambrano lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
