Ovidio Lavin vs Sagaz Portal

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Chile-Santiago promoted show at Las Condes Saez, Las Condes,  taking place on 17/12/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Chile Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UCV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ovidio Lavin (18 - 6) who hails from La Florida, Chile and Sagaz Portal(7 - 11 - 5) from Las Condes, Chile.  Both Lavin and Portal weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Banuelos, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Lama, Eduardo Martel and Lisandro Lozada.  

Round 1: 

Lavin closes the distance and drives a right hook into Portal's body.  
Lavin gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Lavin holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Lavin pushes his forearm into Portal's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Lavin lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Portal pivots to the right of his opponent.  Portal throws a left hook, but Lavin ties up his opponent.  Lavin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Lavin about fouling.  
Lavin manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Lavin lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Lavin lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Lavin holds on to his opponent.  Lavin leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
