Mortimer Michel vs Verity Perec

Boxing Daily Report from the CNLJ Boxing promoted show at Marseille Ulliel, Marseille,  taking place on 16/12/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the France-Provence-Alpes-Cote dAzur Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mortimer Michel (18(2) - 6) who hails from Marseille, France and Verity Perec(17 - 12(2) - 2) from Marseille, France.  Both Michel and Perec weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Villard Lemartin, and the three ringside judges are Paris Linder, Jeffrey Lenoir and Holland Castile.  

Round 1: 

Michel gets on the inside.  Perec sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Michel lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Michel advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Michel ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Michel pushes his forearm into Perec's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Michel about fouling.
