Hobard Gienger vs Everet Altenburger

Boxing Daily Report from the Howes Promotions promoted show at Munich Still, Munich,  taking place on 20/12/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-Bavaria Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hobard Gienger (8(5) - 2) who hails from Munich, Germany and Everet Altenburger(9 - 8(1) - 2) from Nuremberg, Germany.  Both Gienger and Altenburger weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodman Markt, and the three ringside judges are Wendell Jahr, Maximilian Berth and Wilber Sapper.  

Round 1: 

Gienger is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gienger cuts off the ring, trapping Altenburger on the ropes.  Gienger is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Gienger advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Gienger steps inside and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Gienger holds on to his opponent.  Gienger leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Gienger's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Altenburger walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Gienger hits the target with a stinging jab.

Gienger is looking to close the distance.  Altenburger attempts to land a right hook, but Gienger slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Altenburger is looking to keep his distance.  Gienger attempts to land a cross, but Altenburger dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Gienger drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Gienger finds the target with a jab.  
Gienger lands with a ramrod jab.

Gienger lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Gienger clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Gienger pushes his forearm into Altenburger's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gienger.  
Gienger sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Gienger lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Gienger clinches his opponent.  Gienger is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Altenburger's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Altenburger's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Altenburger's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Gienger drives a sharp right uppercut into Altenburger's ribs.

Gienger forces Altenburger to retreat onto the ropes.  Gienger lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Gienger is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Gienger lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Altenburger pivots from in front of his opponent.  Gienger drives a left hook into Altenburger's body.  
Gienger pivots to the side of his opponent.  Gienger lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, DROPPING ALTENBURGER TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  Gienger ties up his opponent. Gienger senses Altenburger is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Gienger lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS ALTENBURGER SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not give Altenburger the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Gienger!
