Cosmas Manago vs Henry Aitken

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Centre Étienne Desmarteau - Ice Rink Caroline Ouellette, Montreal,  taking place on 13/01/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Cosmas Manago (11(8) - 0) who hails from Patrai, Greece and Henry Aitken(14 - 5(1)) from Calgary, Canada.  Both Manago and Aitken weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Dunlap, and the three ringside judges are Michael Oliver, Brendan Aitken and Olier Paradis.  

Round 1: 

Manago lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.

Manago pushes his forearm into Aitken's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Manago attempts to land a left hook, but Aitken blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Manago walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Manago senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Manago lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body, KNOCKING AITKEN DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Aitken now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Aitken quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Manago closes the distance.  Aitken digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Manago holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Manago pushes his forearm into Aitken's face.  The referee warns Manago and breaks the clinch.  
Manago lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Manago walks Aitken into a neutral corner.  Manago is on target with a right uppercut.  
Manago quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Aitken tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Manago lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Aitken manouvers Manago into the corner.  Manago lands a left uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Aitken is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Manago feints a cross, and then throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Manago lands a right uppercut to the body, a jab to the head and a right hook to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Aitken's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Aitken's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Aitken's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
