Myrl Mandel vs Mathias Henke

Boxing Daily Report from the JH Promotions promoted show at Soemmeringhalle, Berlin,  taking place on 07/01/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Myrl Mandel (16(4) - 0) who hails from Nuremberg, Germany and Mathias Henke(10 - 6 - 7) from Dortmund, Germany.  Mandel weighed in at 199 pounds And 5 ounces, while Henke weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Maximillian Sauber, and the three ringside judges are Ehren Jungels, Kolby Becker and Wilburn Stoop.  

Round 1: 

Mandel steps inside and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  Mandel clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mandel pushes his forearm into Henke's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mandel about fouling.  
Mandel lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mandel lands a cross.  
Mandel hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Mandel closes the distance.  Henke throws a left uppercut, but Mandel ties up his opponent.  Mandel leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mandel forces Henke to retreat into the corner.  Mandel lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mandel lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  Mandel holds on to his opponent.  Mandel is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Henke closes the distance.  Mandel lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
It looks like Henke has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Henke advances into close range.  Mandel connects with a left hook.  
Mandel steps inside and digs in a left hook to Henke's ribs.  
Mandel lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mandel connects with a sharp cross.  
Mandel gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Henke throws a right uppercut, but Mandel holds on to his opponent.  Mandel tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Henke's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Henke is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Mandel lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Mandel lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Henke's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Henke's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Mandel lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Henke throws a right uppercut, but Mandel clinches his opponent.  Mandel tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Henke's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mandel lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Mandel ties up his opponent.  Mandel is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mandel to stop holding.  
Mandel lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mandel closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mandel steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mandel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  As Henke tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mandel dabs at his face checking for damage.

Henke is looking to close the distance.  Mandel lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES HENKE!  He manages to get up at 4.  Henke recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mandel pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.

Mandel tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Mandel throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mandel to stop holding.  Henke quickly recovers. 
Mandel advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HENKE IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  Henke quickly recovers. 
Mandel lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.

Mandel forces Henke to back into a corner.  Mandel lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Mandel digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.
