Alejandro Almeda vs Fedya Sudmalnieks

Boxing Daily Report from the MCK MARBELLA promoted show at Palau Olimpic Vall d'Hebron, Barcelona,  taking place on 23/12/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the European Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Teledeporte, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alejandro Almeda (23(8) - 0) who hails from Seville, Spain and Fedya Sudmalnieks(22 - 3 - 1) from Riga, Latvia.  Almeda weighed in at 135 pounds, while Sudmalnieks weighed in at 134 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rogelio Panza, and the three ringside judges are Berto Guillermo, Carlos Mederos and Felippe Perron.
