Leighton Spedden vs Ian Brand

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Ridder Arena, Minneapolis,  taking place on 17/12/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Leighton Spedden (3 - 0) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Ian Brand(2 - 0) from Charlotte, USA.  Spedden weighed in at 240 pounds And 14 ounces, while Brand weighed in at 243 pounds And 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ian Soderberg, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Langer, Harry Streblow and Alastair Cullen.  

Round 1: 

Spedden pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.

Spedden gets on the inside.  Spedden pivots to the side of his opponent.  Spedden lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Spedden clinches his opponent.  Spedden uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Brand's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Spedden to stop fouling.  
Brand walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Brand waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Spedden lands a cross.  
Spedden steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Spedden finds the target with a jab.  
Spedden is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross.  
Spedden advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to Brand's body.  
Spedden throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Spedden ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Spedden pushes his forearm into Brand's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Spedden.

Spedden throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Spedden ties up his opponent.  Spedden uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Brand behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Spedden.

Brand switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Spedden sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Spedden walks Brand down, trapping him in the corner.  Brand tries to land a left uppercut, but Spedden slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Spedden sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a cross to the head.
