Paul MacQuarrie vs Rob Fridge

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit promoted show at Brisbane Petralia, Brisbane,  taking place on 22/12/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul MacQuarrie (13(7) - 0) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Rob Fridge(2 - 1 - 3) from Sydney, Australia.  MacQuarrie weighed in at 140 pounds, while Fridge weighed in at 139 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Moultrie, and the three ringside judges are Chris Weir, Rob Gollon and Oliver Mullane.  

Round 1: 

MacQuarrie gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  MacQuarrie ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, MacQuarrie pushes his forearm into Fridge's face.  The ref breaks MacQuarrie's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Fridge switches the action to the outside.  MacQuarrie lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
MacQuarrie steps inside and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.
