Cisco Cura vs Angel Rodiguez

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Lima Cobo, Lima,  taking place on 28/11/2028:

Clearly Pacific and Andean Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Peru-Lima Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cisco Cura (10 - 8(2) - 1) who hails from Lima, Peru and Angel Rodiguez(15(2) - 4 - 2) from Lima, Peru.  Cura weighed in at 119 pounds and 1 ounces, while Rodiguez weighed in at 118 pounds.    As Cura came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Enzo Pinero, and the three ringside judges are Diego Lara, Orlando Blando and Felippe Pedroso.  

Round 1: 

Rodiguez lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Rodiguez lands a firm right hook.  
Rodiguez closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Rodiguez lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Cura quickly recovers. 
Rodiguez lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Rodiguez closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Rodiguez lands a right hook.  
Rodiguez lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Cura almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Rodiguez is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Rodiguez forces Cura to back into the ropes.  Rodiguez lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Cura quickly recovers. 
Rodiguez attempts to land a right hook, but Cura slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Rodiguez digs in a firm left hook to Cura's body.  
Rodiguez steps inside and manages to force Cura into the blue corner.  Rodiguez sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Rodiguez is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left uppercut to Cura's liver.  
Rodiguez lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Rodiguez lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cura's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Cura's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Cura's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Rodiguez lands a BRUTAL right hook.  CURA IS HURT!  Cura recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Rodiguez manages to force Cura into the corner.  Rodiguez drives a stinging left uppercut into Cura's body.  
Rodiguez is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Cura throws a left hook, but Rodiguez clinches his opponent.  Rodiguez is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Rodiguez's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Rodiguez lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  Rodiguez holds on to his opponent.  Rodiguez pushes his forearm into Cura's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rodiguez about fouling.  
Rodiguez connects with a sharp left hook.  
Rodiguez crashes a big right uppercut to Cura's ribcage.  CURA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Rodiguez!
