William Couch vs Paul Quirke

Boxing Daily Report from the tG promoted show at tG Gym, Brighton and Hove,  taking place on 18/12/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are William Couch (7 - 0) who hails from Plymouth, UK and Paul Quirke(3 - 0) from Blackburn, UK.  Both Couch and Quirke weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Killough, and the three ringside judges are Gus Cruguet, Alen Sullivan and Clinton Lawless.  

Round 1: 

Couch is looking to close the distance.  Couch sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Couch lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Quirke gets on the inside.  Quirke sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Couch connects with a left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Quirke has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Couch lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Couch wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Quirke dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Couch lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Couch is looking to close the distance.  Couch sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Couch advances into close range.  Couch sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Couch steps inside and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.
