Louis Carns vs Amrit Bajpal

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at JMA Wireless Dome, Syracuse,  taking place on 13/01/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on DAZN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fighting Louis Carns (19(12) - 0) who hails from Bristol, UK and Amrit Bajpal(10(1) - 0 - 1) from New Delhi, India.  Carns weighed in at 199 pounds and 9 ounces, while Bajpal weighed in at 199 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Davie Cleary, and the three ringside judges are Ashley Masson, Bart Budge and Valerio De Silvestri.  

Round 1:

Carns is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Carns lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES BAJPAL!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
Carns is on target with a forceful right hook to Bajpal's ribcage.  BAJPAL IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Bajpal has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
