Paul Fabian vs Matt Applegarth

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Showtime Gym, Miami,  taking place on 29/12/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Paul Fabian (2 - 0) who hails from Baltimore, USA and Matt Applegarth(0 - 1) from San Diego, USA.  Both Fabian and Applegarth weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Villasana, and the three ringside judges are Vince Wood, Daniel Ruthven and Oliver Mirando.

Fabian quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.

Fabian is on target with a solid right hook.  Fabian holds on to his opponent.  Fabian is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Applegarth uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Fabian's kidney.

Fabian steps inside and hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  
Fabian is on target with a solid left hook to Applegarth's body.  
Fabian lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Fabian tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Applegarth behind the head. Applegarth pushes his forearm into Fabian's face.  The ref breaks Fabian's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
