Spencer Matheson vs Robert Mattix

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Showtime Gym, Miami,  taking place on 29/12/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Spencer Matheson (2 - 0) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Robert Mattix(0 - 3(1)) from New York City, USA.  Both Matheson and Mattix weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daniel Ruthven, and the three ringside judges are James Villasana, Vince Wood and Oliver Mirando.  

Round 1: 

Mattix tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Matheson slips the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Matheson closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Matheson holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Matheson pushes his forearm into Mattix's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Matheson closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Matheson lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Matheson advances into close range.  Matheson is on target with a stinging left hook to Mattix's body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Matheson dabs at his face checking for damage.

Matheson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Matheson about fouling.  
Matheson gets on the inside and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Mattix throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Matheson clinches his opponent.  Matheson leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Matheson uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Mattix behind the head.
