Xavier Macasa vs Alejandro Salguero

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Laguna promoted show at Ivan Ponce Gym, San Pablo,  taking place on 29/12/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Laguna Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xavier Macasa (5 - 13 - 1) who hails from Calamba, Philippines and Alejandro Salguero(11 - 7(1) - 2) from San Pablo, Philippines.  Both Macasa and Salguero weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luis Lamanilao, and the three ringside judges are Xavier Sicat, Neper Balagtas and Cuba Villescas.
