Alastair Merricks vs Mark Speed

Boxing Daily Report from the Ililonga Promotions promoted show at Milwaukee Gam, Milwaukee,  taking place on 02/12/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Wisconsin Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alastair Merricks (7 - 13(2) - 5) who hails from Milwaukee, USA and Mark Speed(8 - 5 - 1) from Madison, USA.  Both Merricks and Speed weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Summerfield, and the three ringside judges are Dan Fentress, Kenzie Halliburton and Neper Amado.  

Round 1: 

Merricks steps away from his opponent.  Merricks quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Speed throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
