Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Katlehong Jibikilay, Katlehong,  taking place on 31/12/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joey Buys (15(2) - 8 - 1) who hails from Germiston, South Africa and Oringo Muthambi(11 - 15(1) - 3) from Soshanguve, South Africa.  Buys weighed in at 134 pounds and 15 ounces, while Muthambi weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Uba Akamenya, and the three ringside judges are Ubanwa Koranteng, Thomas Kotze and Nwa Ntuli.  

Round 1:
