Steven Vermeulen vs Gus Cathcart

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Hartsfield Rugby Grounds, Harare,  taking place on 06/01/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zimbabwe Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on DStv, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Steven Vermeulen (16 - 4(1)) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Gus Cathcart(13 - 8 - 2) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Vermeulen and Cathcart weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kwamin Mahachi, and the three ringside judges are Robert Hunzvi, John Sword and Floyd Tekere.
