Phil Malmborg vs Mark Kay

Boxing Daily Report from the Cheyeka Promotions promoted show at Nick Arthur Gym, Independence,  taking place on 30/12/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Missouri Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Phil Malmborg (12(1) - 2) who hails from Kansas City, USA and Mark Kay(8 - 3 - 2) from St. Louis, USA.  Malmborg weighed in at 125 pounds and 10 ounces, while Kay weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Antwan Dougherty, and the three ringside judges are Dom Quinn, Gregor Dall and Kris Hogge.  

Round 1: 

Malmborg steps inside.  Malmborg pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.
