Mark Birney vs Todor Drivas

Boxing Daily Report from the JH Promotions promoted show at Brose Arena, Nuremberg,  taking place on 03/02/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mark Birney (20(9) - 1) who hails from Bristol, UK and Todor Drivas(17 - 5) from Athens, Greece.  Both Birney and Drivas weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rey Gersch, and the three ringside judges are Rey Gersch, Bertram Stockner and Archard Labus.

Drivas gets on the inside.  Birney connects with a nasty right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE DRIVAS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Birney is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Birney lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES DRIVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Drivas now seems to have got his legs back.  
Drivas forces Birney to back into the ropes.  Drivas lands two right uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  
Birney lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND SENDS DRIVAS TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Birney!
