Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Atlantico promoted show at Leonel Bosquez Gym, Barranquilla,  taking place on 07/01/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Atlantico Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Berto Montilla (17(6) - 1) who hails from Barranquilla, Colombia and Jair Jaimez(17 - 5) from Barranquilla, Colombia.  Both Montilla and Jaimez weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Antonio Casados, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Montealegre, Gervasio Montejano and Angel Arquilla.  

Round 1:

He continues the combination and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS JAIMEZ TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  The ref asks Jaimez to get his gloves up, but he doesnt respond.  The ref has waved the fight off...he doesnt think Jaimez can continue!  The winner by TKO is Montilla!
