Sam Kotze vs Vuyisile Matlala

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Western Cape promoted show at Cape Town De Jongh, Cape Town,  taking place on 09/01/2029:

Clearly AI South Africa-Western Cape have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Western Cape Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Kotze (6 - 6 - 4) who hails from Khayelitsha, South Africa and Vuyisile Matlala(3 - 8 - 3) from Cape Town, South Africa.  Both Kotze and Matlala weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xhosas Serero, and the three ringside judges are Luvolwethu Nyatama, Xhosas Serero and Jake Tshipapayi.  

Round 1: 

Kotze throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Matlala is looking to close the distance and connects with a left uppercut.  
Kotze is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a cross.  
Matlala steps inside and walks Kotze onto the ropes.  Matlala pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kotze lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

Matlala throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Matlala steps inside.  Matlala sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Kotze digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  Matlala wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kotze dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Kotze.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Matlala's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.
