Adlar Van vs Geoff Makaschwili

Boxing Daily Report from the Hotstepper Promotions promoted show at Hohe Warte Stadium, Vienna,  taking place on 17/02/2029:

Clearly Hotstepper Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Austria-Vienna Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are The Animal Adlar Van (9(6) - 0) who hails from Vienna, Austria and Geoff Makaschwili(7 - 4 - 2) from Vienna, Austria.  Both Van and Makaschwili weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roth Campbell, and the three ringside judges are Ademaro Keiser, Rutger Zichy and Odell Ledske.  

Round 1: 

Van advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Makaschwili steps away from his opponent.  Van lands a solid cross.  
Van switches the action to the outside.  Van sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Van tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.

Van feints a left, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Van quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Van throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Van is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross to the body followed by a overhand left to the head.  
Van hits home with a sharp cross.

Van lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS MAKASCHWILI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Makaschwili now seems to have got his legs back.

Van steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Van ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Van pushes his forearm into Makaschwili's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Van about fouling.  Makaschwili almost instantly gets his legs back.

Van advances into close range.  Van is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Van lands a right hook, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS MAKASCHWILI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Makaschwili now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Van is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a FEARSOME cross.  MAKASCHWILI IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 8.  
Van tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Makaschwili quickly recovers. 
Van gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING MAKASCHWILI DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Van!
