Josh Poaro vs Mark Carlyle

Boxing Daily Report from the RJS Promotions promoted show at RJS Gym, North Shore,  taking place on 16/12/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Josh Poaro (0 - 0) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Mark Carlyle(1 - 17 - 4) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Poaro and Carlyle weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brin Stackpole, and the three ringside judges are Henry Edmonston, Mike Sproule and Richie Seay.  

Round 1: 

Poaro drives a solid right hook into Carlyle's body.  
Carlyle is looking to close the distance.  Poaro lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Poaro closes the distance.  Poaro pivots to the left of his opponent andCarlyle wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Poaro dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Poaro closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Poaro sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Carlyle hits home with a cross.  
Poaro closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Carlyle connects with a right uppercut.  
Poaro gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Poaro hits home with a left hook.  
Poaro lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.
