Oro Abela vs Ryo Mercado

Boxing Daily Report from the Akamenya Promotions promoted show at San Miguel de Tucuma Gardin, San Miguel de Tucuman,  taking place on 15/01/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Publica, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Oro Abela (15(3) - 2) who hails from Salta, Argentina and Ryo Mercado(16 - 1) from San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina.  Both Abela and Mercado weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Galea, and the three ringside judges are Reynaldo Sauceda, Quinto Palomo and Noe Rogero.
