Dimos Barreda vs Malvolio Aceves

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cuba-Santiago de Cuba promoted show at Santiago de Cuba Beltran, Santiago de Cuba,  taking place on 16/01/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Cuba Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dimos Barreda (22(5) - 5(3)) who hails from Holguin, Cuba and Malvolio Aceves(14 - 12(2) - 1) from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba.  Barreda weighed in at 200 pounds, while Aceves weighed in at 200 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Villafane, and the three ringside judges are Ramiro Aleman, Vidal Franca and Oro Balan.  

Round 1:

Barreda manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Barreda lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  Barreda holds on to his opponent.  Barreda leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Barreda is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.  
Barreda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a hard jab.
