Joe Escoto vs Chris McRae

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-North Carolina promoted show at Raleigh Ray, Raleigh,  taking place on 18/01/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joe Escoto (3 - 4) who hails from Charlotte, USA and Chris McRae(10 - 7 - 4) from Charlotte, USA.  Escoto weighed in at 114 pounds And 14 ounces, while McRae weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Felix Hughes, and the three ringside judges are Danny Egerton, Joel Richard and Dale Jones.  

Round 1: 

McRae lands a left uppercut.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Escoto dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Escoto lands a cross.  
Escoto is on target with a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Escoto has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
McRae lands a left hook.  
McRae pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
McRae tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.  
McRae switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.

Escoto advances into close range.  McRae sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Escoto goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends McRae to the neutral corner.  He warns Escoto that continued fouling will result in a point deduction.
