Hassan Iman vs Asif Mehdiyev

Boxing Daily Report from the Feruka Promotions promoted show at Tabriz Djanaliyev, Tabriz,  taking place on 22/12/2028:

Clearly Feruka Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran-East Azerbaijan Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hassan Iman (5 - 0) who hails from Tabriz, Iran and Asif Mehdiyev(9 - 9) from Tabriz, Iran.  Iman weighed in at 240 pounds and 13 ounces, while Mehdiyev weighed in at 238 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Farhan Isgandarov, and the three ringside judges are Obaid Saah, Ahmed Rassi and Danyaal Edigarov.  

Round 1: 

Iman steps inside.  Iman sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mehdiyev's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Mehdiyev's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Mehdiyev's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
