Iwao Nii vs Mikio Kanai

Boxing Daily Report from the Nundwe Promotions promoted show at Raiden Tashiro Gym, Sapporo,  taking place on 01/02/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Japan-Hokkaido Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Iwao Nii (7 - 0) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Mikio Kanai(4 - 22(1) - 3) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Nii and Kanai weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isamu Hara, and the three ringside judges are Goro Tengan, Aoi Juba and Hitoshi Akiyama.  

Round 1: 

Nii is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Nii gets on the inside.  Nii pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a stinging left hook.  
Nii digs in a firm left hook to his opponents liver.  
Nii advances into close range and hits home with a stinging right uppercut.  Nii clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Nii pushes his forearm into Kanai's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nii about fouling.

Kanai pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.

Nii closes the distance.  Kanai pivots to the left of his opponent.  Nii is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Nii ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Nii pushes his forearm into Kanai's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Nii to stop fouling.
