Ashok Shokeen vs Khalid Leghari

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Tehran promoted show at Tehran Ghattas, Tehran,  taking place on 22/01/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran-Tehran Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ashok Shokeen (17 - 9 - 2) who hails from Tehran, Iran and Khalid Leghari(18(2) - 7(2)) from Tehran, Iran.  Both Shokeen and Leghari weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Malik Ben, and the three ringside judges are Ibrahim Shaer, Obaid Sharifi and Zain Harroun.  

Round 1: 

Leghari steps inside.  Leghari sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Leghari lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Leghari walks Shokeen down, trapping him on the ropes.  Leghari lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Leghari advances into close range.  Leghari lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  As Shokeen tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Leghari dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Leghari.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Shokeen throws a right hook, but Leghari ties up his opponent.  Shokeen is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Shokeen about fouling.  
Shokeen steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Leghari lands a firm left hook.  Leghari clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Leghari pushes his forearm into Shokeen's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Shokeen switches the action to the outside and tries to land an overhand right, but Leghari slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Leghari gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Leghari closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Leghari digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Shokeen lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Shokeen steps away from his opponent.  Shokeen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with an overhand right.  
Leghari is on target with a right hook to Shokeen's body.  
Shokeen throws a left uppercut, but Leghari holds on to his opponent.  Shokeen uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Leghari behind the head. 
Leghari quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Leghari advances into close range and hits home with a firm left hook.  
Shokeen throws a left hook, but Leghari clinches his opponent.  Leghari pushes his forearm into Shokeen's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Leghari to stop fouling.  
Leghari steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Shokeen steps to the outside and lands a cross.  
Leghari steps inside.  Leghari sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.
