Gonzalo Rosa vs Jose Peres

Boxing Daily Report from the Bawuah Promotions promoted show at Acapulco Montiel, Acapulco,  taking place on 24/01/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Guerrero Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gonzalo Rosa (12(5) - 2(1)) who hails from Acapulco, Mexico and Jose Peres(4 - 2 - 2) from Acapulco, Mexico.  Both Rosa and Peres weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fidel Molina, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Sancho, Baltasar Poblete and Jerrold Santibanez.  

Round 1: 

Peres switches the action to the outside.  Rosa hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Rosa is on target with a firm left hook to Peres's body.  
Rosa walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Rosa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.

Peres is looking to keep his distance.  Rosa lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Peres is looking to keep his distance.  Rosa lands an overhand left followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Rosa advances into close range and drives a sharp right hook into Peres's body.  
Rosa steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Peres is looking to keep his distance.  Rosa lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Rosa lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Peres's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Peres's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Rosa lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Rosa lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Peres is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Rosa lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Rosa steps inside and is on target with a firm left uppercut to Peres's body.  
Peres pivots to the right of his opponent.  Rosa is on target with a firm left uppercut to Peres's body.  
Rosa manages to force Peres into a neutral corner.  Rosa lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Rosa steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  Rosa holds on to his opponent.  Rosa leans on his opponent using all his weight. He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS PERES DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Peres now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Rosa hits home with a firm cross.  
Rosa drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  
Rosa is on target with a FEROCIOUS cross.  PERES HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Rosa!
