Sadid Almiknasi vs Barir Meriana

Boxing Daily Report from the Bonsu Promotions promoted show at Rifky Ashcroft Gym, Rabat,  taking place on 26/01/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Morocco-Rabat-Sale-Kenitra Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sadid Almiknasi (14 - 13 - 5) who hails from Sale, Morocco and Barir Meriana(20(1) - 4 - 1) from Kenitra, Morocco.  Both Almiknasi and Meriana weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sabeer Seghir, and the three ringside judges are Saif al Din Wahbi, Aniq Wahbi and Faqih Ouahab.  

Round 1: 

Meriana advances into close range and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Meriana ties up his opponent.  Meriana pushes his forearm into Almiknasi's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Meriana.
