Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Stephen Patu Gym, Christchurch,  taking place on 27/01/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Coupland (14 - 4 - 2) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Maipi Katipa(3 - 9(1) - 2) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Coupland weighed in at 126 pounds, while Katipa weighed in at 125 pounds and 12 ounces.
